The Office work got hectic.

The work started becoming hectic as the company's service became worse. And office politics started adding more and more politics as people came to know how to handle the senior manager. It was the time when I opted for an operation and marketing role where I was not handling the marketing role completely, the work was only to have meetings with the customers who I was handling. The second senior manager was not good, at least I can't say he has a leadership quality after working with him for around 2 years. It was such a bad experience that I needed to switch to another company.

It was the time when I had worked for around 8 months and I needed to go to my home town i.e. Bhubaneswar where my parents were staying. I asked the senior manager for 15 days' leave as I was already missing my parents and wanted to relax due to the extreme weather conditions in Delhi NCR. He reportedly gave my work to a colleague whom I mistook as a friend in the beginning. 15 days went well in my hometown, my vacation got over and I came back to Noida. Coming back to the office I came to know my whole work was handed over to that girl and I was not going to handle anymore as she was handling the work during my off. I wasn't handling during those days that's why the whole management ignored my previous work and allowed her to continue. I felt as if my whole hard work was ignored due to the vacation I took and I was being told not to take leave even if leaves were available. That girl never took leaves due to living with her own family and even if She was from Bihar, they never required her to go there as her own family was living with her.

This is my very first shocking thing to know about the company where I was directed not to take leaves if I want growth and this update I learned that the senior manager doesn't like going to his family or having vacations instead of working like a robot every time, he doesn't believe people taking leaves, neither he takes nor he let other take leaves under him. I was shifted to some other department and was asked to work until they got another suitable customer for me to handle. These updates spread to every person in that company, some support you and some make fun of you saying you don't work properly. You have to be close to the senior manager so that the work will always be with you. That's what I was suggested to keep in mind if I want to work in this company.

This is how I started knowing the actual struggle where it was my first time staying away from my people and living in an unknown city and that too asked not to take leaves if I wanted career growth which everybody wants in their life.
