The Routine- Managing Time



After settling down in the newly rented house for a few days, I started preparing a routine work as I didn't know what I was leaving behind. Preparing a routine for your day-to-day life clarifies your work-life balance and helps you keep track of that routine. There are certain short-term and long-term goals that you want to achieve; without a routine, you cannot keep track of those goals. I gained this routine work necessity when I lacked consistency in my life.


I used to weigh around 67 kg and I did this when I was at home during Covid. After 1 year of living in Ghaziabad and working in Noida, I somehow couldn't get time for workouts. I caught COVID during the second wave and I was there inside a room for 20 days in my Uncle's house. I was completing my office work from home. Yes, it affected me when I lost my strength, and even the consistency that I used to have to continue work was lost. After Covid, I tried going back to my routine but somehow I lost my consistency and interest in doing workouts and subsequently, I gained weight which led me to again get back to that chubby girl. Always remember Consistency is the key to success in any goal you want to achieve. And here getting back to weight by doing an intense workout, was not that easy, and again if you are a working lady, this will take time if not self-motivated every day. I was doing all my kinds of stuff by myself, and It became more challenging to even think about doing a workout every day.


So after settling down, I prepared a routine and started working on it. As I said in my previous blog, shifting, advance rent, and minimal salary, I do not have enough money to bear extra expenses like renting an inverter, renting a refrigerator, and other things that are needed in a house. So the routine starts at 7 am waking up, doing a workout at least a less intense workout to complete, getting ready for the office, and reaching the office by 9:25 am. Till 6 pm I used to work then came back home. Relax a bit or if I have much-needed energy then I straightforwardly start working on my upskilling goals. It would take around 30 minutes to freshen up, eat something, and start studying Not every day I used to do this, it takes lots of motivation to start studying immediately after freshening up. Then from 8:30 pm to 9 pm, I prepare food for the same night, the next day lunch box, and even early morning breakfast as I do not have a refrigerator. Yes, I used to prepare food for only 1 time so that I could save time for other kinds of stuff as well. In this way, I used to end my day and go to sleep. This was my everyday routine but maintaining this was difficult. At least once a month to not spend on outside food that much, I used to order food that too when it was Saturday so that I wouldn't be worried about the next day's breakfast or lunch food preparation.


My work at the office eventually started adding pressure.
