Workout, Yoga, and Meditation to ease my Mental state

Happy Diwali Everybody!!

"Your recruitment company is facing many losses due to this pandemic so they ain't going to call you to join, We are sorry Please attend all other companies or start searching for jobs. Please do not wait for this company." This is when I got a call from my college regarding my job update and my life shattered after listening to this as all the jobs were severely affected due to the Covid and there might be many people who are feeling the same as me. I can say I was lucky that I was with my parents but many people worked for their respective companies but did not get paid. I am an overthinker and these issues started affecting me mentally as well.

I watched movies and started doing courses so that it would be a help to gain extra skills but soon I came to know these skills will be considered only when you have experience. How will I have an experience if I am not even getting a job? Anyway, I started studying and started working out as well. I usually do my workout but dealing with issues while working out I never faced. I never knew that doing a workout could help me handle my overthinking mental issue as well as make me feel good from within.

My near and dear ones started advising me to stop thinking too much and work on myself. This might be where You can't do anything but utilize this time to keep yourself perfect and fit. I started searching for more intense workouts to lose weight and maintain myself so that when it's time I can face the world. Initially, I started working out without yoga or meditation but after listening to many YouTube workout influencers, They recommended starting with a warm-up and then an intense workout then Yoga then meditation. This is the sequence one should work on accordingly. During my PGDM course, I used to work workouts but being at home for a year helped me to know more about workouts, their benefits, and their consistency power. Doing workouts will be fruitful only when there is consistency that's what I did show in myself during that 1 year. Every morning two-hour workouts, working on new intense workouts would keep up my interest as well. One thing I used to do to keep up my interest and to maintain my consistency was updating my WhatsApp stories. WhatsApp stories with new workouts and updates would keep my people motivated to cop with the situation and might be dealing with the issues as well but not conveying them to anybody. Meditation for even 2 minutes after finishing my workout would ease my mental health, keep motivating me to deal with the situation, and keep a clear vision about what to do and how to start my next phase. In this way, I lost my excessive weight as well as maintained my optimistic thinking. I was ready as well to fight for a place in the corporate world.

In between these workouts, dealing with mental health and working for the future, I got shortlisted for a Consulting job where they were ready for a virtual interview as I was continuously applying for fresher jobs. I gave the interview but couldn't get through due to the virtual environment. It was my first virtual interview and it was too uncomfortable for me. Virtual interviews were also challenging due to not being ready to cop. After several rounds of practice, one becomes comfortable. This was the only Interview while I was at home, after that, I did not receive any calls due to being fresher, and HR/people were expecting what from people, they only know. Not giving a chance to freshers and expecting experience from them is the issue that everybody is facing.

In this way, I completed my one year and was ready to shift to Bengaluru in February 2021. I got a call in January 2021 from my college, "Congratulations, you are confirmed for your company.."
